Hello my dear,

I’m going to tell you my secret: When I was young my father loved Beatles. So, I grew up listening their musics and I was curious about what I was singing. In my teenage, I discovered the translation and I fell in love about “Bread, Simon & Garfunkel, Elton John” etc. And obviously I continued loving Beatles. I don’t know how, but everything in English looks like easy for me. The sounds of words, their meanings... ...it was a easy process. In Baixa Grande I had English Classes at school and here in CEFET I had Instrumental English (Skinning, scanning, shape of the text...). At College I needed learn more because of the classes’s matherial and I did it alone and with some friends that had formal courses, like ACBEU. The worst one was my Master Degree, because 90% that texts were in English. This makes me study more and improve my vocabulary. Since three years ago I had learned a lot of English with TV series like Lost, Grey’s Anathomy, House, CSI, Heroes etc. Belive me, it’s a fun process!! I always want learn English in a real school, but first I didn’t have money, after I didn’t have time. So, I will confess that I had prejudice with the NELG’s quality, but I’m very happy to be surprised.
Adriana you are a great teacher, a special one; make me want learn more each day. Your dynamics are very good, perfect to Saturday’s afternoons classes, make us awake. We can see that you love your job and I’ve never had a so good English’s teacher before. You have a special gift: You know make criticisms without hurting people. This is fantastic! I’m afraid about the next semester and my spectations about the new teacher.
The group was very friendly too and because of this I felt home with you. So, I want to say thank you and wish that we can be together next semester.
The blog’s idea was very good but we, students, really need a feedback to continue using the space. Your presence in some posts is important to we know that we be in the right way and that you are reading our texts. It’s good to motivation. Dispite of this, I lived incredable moments with you and I loved the experience. Thanks! That’s all folks!!

On May 22, we had class on the Uses of the Infinitive and gerund, we did an exercise representing people and their hopes and ambitions. It was made a joke called "AROUND THE WORLD," which included naming names of countries that started with the letters of the title sequence of play. Then there was explanation of Quantifiers and Future "Going to" and "Will."

My last class

In my last class we made differents activities. We play a game called "AROUND THE WORLD". It is one logical game and i didn't understand the game at first, but when i understood, i enjoyed very much. My classmates and me organized one party for the last class. I hope who everybody have liked the game!

I liked the form of oral assessment on my vacation because it was an easy subject to talk because they have experienced.
my presentation I was able to explore words that were unknown until then was good for me and my colleagues because they heard different words, also served to remove the inhibition present in another language.

presentation of my colleagues was very good experience because it allowed contact with words, pronunciations and different stories was very good, it was possible to listen and ask questions of words in the final correction of the teacher wrong pronunciations.
I liked stimulated thought and pronunciation of words and phrases in the past.

THE LAST CLASSES

The last classes were very interesting.
I was embarrassed because the teacher commented on the comment kiss thiago.
I was a little sad about my race, but I'm trying to study next to a good result.
The presentations colleagues were a lot of interesting.

Some about the classes

In this class we did our first evaluation. The group that made the presentations was so nervous, as usual in this case. The histories about unforgettables vacation were great and funny. I liked a lot because the teacher made corrections about uses and pronunciation. I think that my presentation was good and I enjoyed other classmates vacations too.

In that class everybody was ansious about the written evaluation. It was different and unconventional form to put us to think about our English knowledge. I and my partner Jack did two histories about guys having a conversation and a international spy. Unfortunately I had problems until the end and be sick all the weekend. I think that was because a vaccine I took that day.

24/04
I went to the morning class because I had a important meeting in afternoon. The group is different, but the students was very much nervous with oral presentation too. However, I saw many beautiful photos and enjoyed the histories a lot. After, I was worried about the new grammar point: present perfect. I was afraid because I`ve never saw this verb tense and It`s very difficult to understand, mainly because we don`t have this form here in Brasil. During the week I stayed more calm because I studied a lot.

In the last class, after holyday, we studied more about present perfect and other general things such as “how much/how many”. We did other presentations too, all fun and interesting. I enjoyed and learn a lot. We also talked about the final oral evaluation. It will a explanation about a part of a book. My history looks like good.

My lesson

In my lesson happened several apresentations about the last trip and the last vacation. It was very cool because we could know each other better. Some classmates tell stories very interestings and other show photos very funny. In my apresentation i felt very nervous and had difficult for speak, but i liked this activity because we could show our activities in free time.
